Earlier this year, Trader Joe's asked customers what coated pretzel flavor they'd like to see. Mocha Latte won! When we saw these on the shelves last week, we knew we had to try them!
New in 2024, Trader Joe's Mocha Latte Pretzels are a limited-time item and are packaged in a resealable 7-ounce bag costing $2.99.
The package description reads, "Mini pretzels with a coffee candy coating & dark chocolatey drizzle."

The first ingredient on the list is "white candy coating" and the second is pretzels. Given the thin layer of coating, I was surprised it landed first on the list.
The coffee flavor comes from ground coffee beans.

He says (Mark): Well done, TJ's. This is a flavor combination that I've never tried before. These have a perfect crunch. The coating is generous, and the taste is bold and different. This mocha is no joke-a! It lingers for a bit. Might be good with an iced latte?

She says (Bridget): These mini pretzels really hit the perfect note of salty and sweet. Also, the crunch of the pretzel and the creamy coating are juxtaposed beautifully. The coffee flavor is there but isn't overwhelming; the vanilla and chocolate tone it down a bit. I'd love a few of these crumbled over chocolate froyo or alongside an afternoon iced latte.
