When I spied these Trader Joe's Strawberry Yogurt Flavored Coated Almonds, I snatched up a bag immediately.

Like most Trader Joe's almond offerings, these come in a resealable plastic pouch. The price is $3.99 for eight ounces.

The suggested serving size of 17 pieces comes to 180 calories, 13 grams of fat, 4 grams of protein, and 2 grams of fiber. 

There are 7 Weight Watchers Points (WW Points) per serving of 17 almonds, but only 4 points for 10 pieces.

The ingredients include almonds (I bet you guessed that one), a "yogurt flavored coating," strawberry powder, and vegetable juice for color.

He says (Mark): A new combination for me. I like strawberries, almonds, and yogurt, so why not try them together? The almonds had a perfect crunch, and the yogurt coating thickness seemed to be similar to plain yogurt almonds I've had in the past. The taste was interesting; it might be good in an almond assortment or trail mix, but not on its own. Didn't work for me.

She says (Bridget): The strawberry-flavored yogurt coating perfectly captures the sweet-tart flavor of strawberries. The coating isn't too thick, which is nice; the almond shines here. What I might love most about these is the super crunchy, TOASTED almonds in the center. I noted them when reviewing the cinnamon sugar almonds, too. So good! How darling would these be for a baby or bridal shower???

Will we buy them again? Since Mark doesn't love them, we'll go back to one we both enjoy.
