Trader Joe's Hold the Cone TIPS Review
He says (Mark): The cone itself has a great crunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by how strong the chocolate flavor is. Very smooth. I don't recommend eating one in two bites. It's too much of a mess, and the cone flakes all over the place if you bite it in half. For adults anyway, eat the mini-cone in one bite if you're up to it. I read the serving size AFTER my taste test, thinking 3 pieces would be a serving. Ate the extra two just to be sure.
Overall rating: 5 out of 5 stars
She says (Bridget): I was initially impressed by the amount of chocolate in each cone tip! They are filled to the top! The waffle cone is tasty but very, very flaky. It shatters and leaves crumbs and flakes everywhere...clothes, table, floor. I also enjoyed the taste of the chocolate, but I'd rather eat the actual Hold the Cones WITH the ice cream.
Overall rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars
Will we buy them again? One of us would; one of us doesn't want to sweep up the crumbs.
Trader Joe's Hold the Cone TIPS: A fun and yummy novelty offering worth trying at least once!
