It's the day after Christmas - prime time to get out of the house and make a Trader Joe's run!
Today, we're reviewing Trader Joe's Milk Chocolate Rondos with Caramelized Pecan Crunch. (Yay for Trader Joe's chocolate reviews!) There are two varieties of Rondos. The other is a dark chocolate version with raspberry, strawberry, and cherry.
According to the Trader Joe's website, these Slovakian chocolates got the name Rondos from the word Rondo, which is "....a form of song featuring a refrain that alternates in and out with at least one contrasting melodic theme—almost like a song in conversation with itself." Rondos are chocolates "...featuring complementary elements such as dried fruit or candied nuts..."
You'll find 10 chocolate discs in each in each cylindrical box, separated by thin paper cushions. The suggested serving size is 2 per serving. One container costs $4.99.

We loved them as well. Sadly, they seem to have disappeared from the shelves at Trader Joe’s. You can however buy them on eBay for TWICE the original price. Don’t plan to do that.
