Today, we're reviewing Trader Joe's Pretzel Breadsticks. Described on the package as "twisty, rustic, pretzel-like breadsticks."

A 5.3-ounce containing 12 breadsticks costs $2.49. Suggested serving size is two breadsticks.

The pretzel ingredients include wheat flour, sourdough culture, and durum wheat semolina.

• beer cheese pretzel bites (buzzfeed)
• peanut butter pretzel truffles (brown eyed baker)
• soft pretzels (bake at 350 for the pioneer woman)

He says (Mark): These were "love at first bite!" I immediately started thinking of what could be paired with them: mustard, cheese dip, beer. They are strong and would probably hold up better to heavy dips like hummus (which causes smaller breadsticks to crumble too easily). Super crispy, salted lightly. Very interesting combination this is: perhaps a breadzel-stick?

She says (Bridget): Dry, with little flavor other than salt. I was really disappointed by these. I'm a pretzel lover and a breadstick lover, but this marriage was not made in heaven for me.
