Described on the package as "crispy, sweet, tart and savory," Mee Krob Snackers cost $2.99  for 3 ounces (3 servings). They're gluten-free and vegan.

The main ingredient here is, you guessed it, rice noodles. You'll also find shallots, cashews, sugar, tomato and tamarind pastes, and a slew of spices and seasonings in the mix.

She says (sister B, age 8): These Trader Joe's Mee Krob snacks contained a complex array of flavor combinations, including sweet and savory rice noodles coated with many delicious Thai spices. I could never guess that these Mee Krob snacks were made of cashews, chili sauce, garlic, and lime juice (there are more ingredients printed on the back of the package). Surprisingly, the flavors mixed well together, providing a good, tasty snack.

He says (brother N, age 12): Trader Joe's Mee Krob noodle snacks are a unique and healthy treat that is gluten-free and vegan. These cubed morsels are composed of rice, noodles, cashews, and lots of flavorful spices. The description on the front of the bag is true; they are crispy, sweet, tart, and savory. This was not something I expected, but all of the flavors were delicious when combined together. I do not have Thai food every day, so this was a fun taste of traditional food from Thailand. Some of the noodle cubes did stick together in the bag, making them harder to snack on. They are great for anyone who wants a snack that is different but has a lot of flavor!

Will they buy them again?

(B):  I would definitely buy these Mee Krob snacks again for many occasions. They are good as an afternoon snack or a side dish, or you can sprinkle them over nice, warm soup. 

(N): I would absolutely recommend buying this snack; it is a great everyday treat, and I will be excited to taste them again.
