It's snack time, and today we have a review of Trader Joe's Organic Cacio e Pepe Puffs for you!
Cheese (a mix of cheddar and romano) + pepper corn and rice snacks are inspired by the cheese and pepper pasta dish from Italy.
A 4.9-ounce bag costs $2.49. The bag description reads, "Cacio e Pepe is a deceptively simple Italian Pasta dish that just means, "cheese and pepper," and now the delicious flavors of this beloved dish are on a crunchy, pillowy corn and rice puff. Each perfectly baked puff is seasoned with a blend of cheeses and black pepper, for an addicting crunch and kick—without having to fuss in the kitchen. And oh yeah, they're organic, too."

Trader Joe's Cacio e Pepe Puffs Review
He says (brother N, age 12): Cacio e Pepe puffs are a great addition to any snack. Cacio e Pepe is a traditional Italian pasta with cheese and pepper. I haven't had this dish before, but this snack variation is delightful. The puffs are easy to devour and have an addictive taste, and the pepper really gives an added kick that differentiates it from a normal cheese puff. The only bad thing about these corn and rice snacks is that they easily get stuck in my teeth, which is an inconvenience that makes me reluctant to put these in my lunch at school. Besides this setback, this is one of my favorite snacks from Trader Joe's.

She says (sister B, age 8): These cheese and pepper corn snacks are incredible! Like the package defines, the puffs tasted like buttery pasta from Italy, only with a different consistency. These were executed well, made organic, and contained many tasty flavors. This is a great snack, not to mention the low prices ($2.49 per bag).
