What's a Powerberry, you ask? Good question. Trader Joe's powerberries are "real fruit juice pieces made with acai, pomegranate, cranberry, and blueberry juices..."
An 8-ounce bag costs $3.99. The suggested serving size is about 8 pieces, but that serving size has 25% of the recommended daily Vitamin C.
Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate-Covered Powerberries Review
She says (sister B, age 8): This fruit-and-chocolate snack is flavorful and delicious. The chocolate complements the berries, causing a delightful taste and a fresh scent. Not to mention that this snack's serving size contains 25% of your recommended daily Vitamin C! I would approve these bite-sized chocolate-dipped berries for anyone who wants a healthy yet sweet snack.
Overall rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
He says (brother N, age 11): These bite-sized delicacies are a perfect snack or dessert. The chocolate that coats the berry center is the Goldilocks of chocolates: not too dark or light. The core is made up of an assortment of berries, such as pomegranates, cranberries, and blueberries. It was hard to tell from the packaging that there were multiple berries fused together in this sphere, and I was wondering if a powerberry was an actual kind of berry and not just a product name! These two elements to the treat both complement each other and are a great combination. There are a lot of sugars in the recommended serving size, but where it lacks in some places, it makes up in others, such as having a reliable amount of vitamin C.

Will they buy them again?
(B): These power berries would definitely come in handy for a daily snack. You could also take these to school or work with you, and they would be a touch of sugar and Vitamin C to your day! I would totally buy this again, and although the berry blend was a bit sour, you could tell how unique and tasty these are!
(N): These powerberries are great as an on-the-go, impromptu snack because of their bite-sized nature. I would definitely pick these up at Trader Joe's for a flavorful bite.
