If there's one thing that lands in my cart during every Trader Joe's run, it's some sort of chocolate. 

Today, we review Trader Joe's Dark Chocolate Bark with Almond, Pretzel & Sea Salt. The title is, for sure, a mouthful.

This chocolate bark comes in a 10-ounce bag and costs $3.99. The suggested serving size is 2 pieces, coming in at about 150 calories. (The pieces are all different sizes. I choose to think it's two BIG pieces per serving.) 

A snippet of the package copy reads, "Combining the rich, full flavors of dark chocolate with the resounding crunch of roasted almonds and pretzel pieces, then finishing with a sprinkle of sea salt..."

Chocolate + almond or pretzel recipes to try:

• chocolate pretzel pecan pie (12 tomatoes)
• chocolate almond clusters (le creme de la crumb)
• chocolate-dipped cookie dough pretzels (bake at 350)

She says (Bridget): We're on our third bag of these. Boom. Reviewed. Ok, fine... there's more. The combination of flavors here sings! The dark (but smooth) dark chocolate with crunchy almond bits, crispy pretzel pieces and sea salt all come together for an exquisite bite. The pieces of almond and pretzel are small and distributed evenly throughout, so you're always getting chocolate with a little something extra. The salt hits just the right note - leaving a very pleasant aftertaste. I love a piece of this to end a meal without going for a big dessert. 

In a previous review, I gave Trader Joe's Pound Plus Milk Chocolate Bar with Caramel, Pretzel Bits & Sea Salt 5 stars. This is even better.

He says (Mark): This is a winner! The description is accurate, as is the photo. One cool feature is The way this breaks apart. It is unique because it doesn't crumble…no wasted bits. A perfect blend of crunchy bits. I like this so much that I'd eat less milk chocolate - that's saying something as I kept returning for more. No bitter aftertaste like some dark chocolates, Going back - again - for seconds now...or was it thirds? Bye.
