If you'd been in the store at the same time I was, you would have heard a literal *gasp* when my eye came across this cheese. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Trader Joe's Amarena Cherries (see this Amarena and Chocolate Marbled Bundt Cake recipe I made using them.)
I want to call this Amarena Cherry Goat Cheese, but the full product name is Trader Joe's Double Cream Amarena Cherry Goat's Milk Cheese.
Wrapped in a 4-ounce package like most goat cheese, this one has the same easy-peel opening on back. The suggested serving size is 1 ounce, so 4 servings per package. Trader Joe's Amarena Cherry Goat's Milk Cheese costs $2.99.

The goat cheese is made with Amerena cherries, cherry juice, and sour cherry spread. Fruit and vegetable juice provide color.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the cherry heart? ♥
Trader Joe's Amarena Double Cream Cherry Goat's Milk Cheese Review
She says (Bridget): Given my love of Trader Joe's Amarena cherries, I was almost afraid to try this...hoping it would not disappoint. Well, it did NOT disappoint. It is a triumph. First, the goat's cheese spreads beautifully. It doesn't crack or crumble. Next, the taste. The combination of creamy, tart, sour, and sweet is a joy. Serve as an appetizer, on a cheese board, or even for dessert. I'm thinking about this spread on chocolate graham crackers.
OK, how amazing would this be in this Roasted Cherry and Almond Cheesecake ICE CREAM that is made with goat cheese?!? *runs back to Trader Joe's* Y'all... it's lovely.

He says (Mark): I've always had an affinity for both goat cheese and for cherries. This combination by TJ's is a winner. The cheese is on the tart side and not too sweet. I like how it spreads more than it crumbles. Pair with wafer-thin artisan crackers and enjoy as a stand-alone snack or as part of a cheese board or charcuterie board.

Would we buy this again: Seriously, I'm heading back to Trader Joe's tomorrow just for this.
