Have you ever saved Trader Joe's for last on a long day of running errands? Last is good because all of your frozen items are home in a jiffy, but last is BAD because you're hungry and buy ALL THE THINGS.
With that in mind, this Trader Joe's review is brought to you...from my car. That's right, I (A.) had to impulsively buy this box of Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies, and (B.) had to rip open the box and eat one in my car.

A Trader Joe's holiday item and a new one at that, I found these cookies in a big display right in the front of the store. A box of 18 cookies costs $4.99.
The suggested serving size is one sandwich cookie coming in at 150 calories each.
More gingerbread goodness:
- gingerbread muffins with cream cheese drizzle (two sugar bugs)
- fudge gingerbread linzer cookies (pies and tacos)
- favorite gingerbread cookies (bake at 350)
Trader Joe's Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies Review
REVIEW (Bridget): Exquisite. Can I call a cookie exquisite? Good. Because they are. The cookies are small in diameter, but as a filled sandwich cookie, they have a satisfying, substantial bite. The cookies are soft with a slight crunch from a sprinkle of just the right amount of sparkling sugar. While it looks a little messy, the thick powdered sugar and cream cheese filling is set and stays in place. The gingerbread spice is light - not spicy at all, just pleasantly flavorful. I didn't just eat one in my car; I ate two. And then another when I got home.
Overall review: 5 of 5 stars

Will I buy these again? A very enthusiastic YES.
Trader Joe's Gingerbread Sandwich Cookies: A holiday treat that I hope they bring back every year!
I had these at Thanksgiving at our son’s house. Absolutely fantastic. I thought they were homemade they tasted so good!!!
ReplyDeleteTHEY ARE SOLD OUT. none in warehouses. To me they are like the Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies from another generation. they only are out once a year, they freeze wonderfully. And now the word is out
