Pumpkin season! It's the most wonderful time of the year! This week, we're reviewing our first pumpkin treat of the season, Trader Joe's Pumpkin Biscotti.
I'll be honest, Trader Joe's Pumpkin biscotti don't look like the most exciting treat in the store. No frosting, no sprinkles, no fluff.
An 8-ounce carton of biscotti costs $3.99. The suggested serving size is 2 cookies coming in at 110 calories, 4 grams of fat, and 9 grams of sugar.
Trader Joe's Pumpkin Biscotti Review
She (Bridget) says: Yes, they look plain, but do not sleep on these. Here's what I love about them: they're actually made with pumpkin puree...they're mini-size...they have just the right amount of crunch and spices. The very first thing I noticed was the gorgeous scent of fall as soon as I opened the carton. I immediately had visions of sweaters, boots, and kicking through fallen leaves...even if it is in the 90s today. These biscotti are delicious on their own and would be perfection with a cappuccino.

He (Jack) says: These are an awesome way to kick off the fall season. I can't really smell much because of allergies, but I'm sure they smell wonderful. The feel of it is just right; not rock-hard, but not too soft to where it crumbles everywhere. That last factor is a huge plus for biscotti. The taste is definitely very pumpkin-y, but sort of mediocre. There isn't any wow factor or special flavor that makes me want to give these a top-tier review, but nonetheless, they are very good!

Would I buy them again? Yes! I'll have them in the pantry all through November. (If they don't sell out.)
Trader Joe's Pumpkin Biscotti: We like them! A lot!
