Do you love a Tzatziki dip? Me, too!!! For an easy dinner, I picked up Trader Joe's chicken shawarma (we'll need to do a review soon!), veggies, and Trader Joe's Vegan Tzatziki Dip. I'll definitely be adding some pita bread next time, too.
Trader Joe's Vegan Tzatziki Dip is located near the gyro meat (makes sense!), not by the tubs of hummus. At least in our store. An 8-ounce tub costs $3.99.

The base of tzatziki is typically yogurt, but in this dairy-free version, the base is made with dairy-free cream cheese. Interestingly, this is made from coconut oil, potato starch, chickpea protein, and yeast (with a few more ingredients, too).
Trader Joe's Vegan Tzatziki Dip Review
REVIEW (Bridget): I absolutely love this! Thick and creamy, and not watery like some other tzatzikis can be, this one is perfect with kababs, shawarma, or just for dipping cucumbers. The taste is bright and lemony with just enough garlic, but not SO MUCH garlic that you couldn't eat this in an office setting (and breathe near people afterward). The cucumber and dill keep the dip fresh and herby tasting. This is so good; you'll never miss the dairy. I do think the serving size is more like 4, not nine, though! ;)
Overall rating: 5 of 5 stars
Will I buy this again? Probably every time I pop into TJ's.
