Maybe you're wondering...what is Bulgogi anyway? Bulgogi is a Korean dish that is literally translated to "fire meat."
*source: Spoon University.
This "fire meat" is marinated and grilled beef seasoned with a savory and sweet soy-based sauce. Trader Joe's combines this meat with fried rice and kimchi for Korean-inspired Bulgogi Beef with Kimchi. We're big fans of TJ's frozen entrees, like Lamb Vindaloo, so we always love trying new offerings.

You'll find this in the frozen section. A 16-ounce package costs $4.99. Serving size is one bag, but the nutrition information is given for a 1-cup serving as well. Cooking instructions are offered for both microwave and pan-fry. I chose the stovetop option for heating.
Trader Joe's Bulgogi Beef Fried Rice Review
REVIEW (Bridget): While I think this can be a good option for lunch or dinner in a hurry, the bulgogi fried rice was a little bland. I added crushed red pepper flakes to mine, and that helped. Maybe Sriracha would be nice? I liked the addition of green beans to add a little freshness and some veggies. Despite kimchi being called out in the name, I didn't taste it. Fresh out-of-the-jar kimchi might brighten the whole dish up, though. The serving size is a bit odd - too much for one person, but definitely not enough for two.
Overall review: 3.5 of 5 stars
Would I buy this again? I'd definitely pick up a Lamb Vindaloo instead.
Trader Joe's Bulgogi Beef Fried Rice: Good, not the best.
