These Pumpkin Spice Espresso Beans come in what I would call a snack-sized package. In our store, they were displayed in a basket near an endcap. A 3.5-ounce package costs just 99 cents.

The description on the package reads, "chocolate-covered espresso beans with a pumpkin spice blend." Also, I'm sorry - I don't know why the back of this package is so dirty. I did make a smoothie with cocoa powder earlier, so maybe there was some left on the counter. Oops!

He says (Mark): I’m excited for another Fall pumpkin spice review. This one leaves me wanting more spice and less espresso bean. I love the pumpkin spice flavor…they nailed this one. But it’s lost on me due to the texture of the bean. If the center were a nut, chocolate, or other crunchy-thing besides the bean, we’d have a winner. I tried pairing these with an espresso and did not go back for seconds.

She says (Bridget): Right off the bat, these are not "chocolate-covered." These beans are WHITE chocolate-covered. I love TJ's, so I'll let this one slide, but let's not make this mistake again. ;) Taste-wise, these are good - the white chocolate coating does have those warm, "pumpkin" spices. They marry quite well with the strong espresso bean flavor. While I'm not tempted to eat these by the handful, I do think they'd be a fun addition to a fall dessert - such a decorating the top of a cheesecake (this chocolate coffee cheesecake comes to mind) or trifle.

Would I buy these again? Maybe as a treat for a pumpkin spice latte-loving friend.
