Bread and pumpkin are two of my love languages, so I'm beyond thrilled that we're reviewing Trader Joe's Pumpkin Brioche Twist today.
Brioche is traditionally a tender bread made with eggs and butter. This one also has pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin puree in the mix.

A loaf of Trader Joe's Pumpkin Brioche Twist costs $3.99. The copy on the packaging describes it as "classic French style brioche with a hint of warm spices." There are serving suggestions on the package, such as using the brioche for French toast or toasted with nut butter.
The loaf is cut into thick slices and is wrapped in what is like a loaf-shaped muffin liner. The paper liner is cut-through with each piece, but be sure to peel it away from the bread before toasting!
Trader Joe's Pumpkin Brioche Twist Review
He says (Mark): This will get your taste buds geared up for cooler weather. It combines a very nice balance of pumpkin flavor with the light-n-fluffy brioche-style texture. To kick this winner up another notch, serve it warm or toasted with a bit of butter. This would be especially good for breakfast or brunch, with a mimosa or cappuccino.
She says (Bridget): Ooh-la-la! Thick, pillowy, spongy slices are swirled with fall spices. While the bread is orange and pumpkin puree is the third ingredient, I don't taste pumpkin here. That's great if you have an avowed pumpkin-hater at home. This bread toasts up REALLY quickly, probably because of the high sugar content, so adjust your toaster settings as needed. The toast pictured here on my typical setting is definitely toastier than I typically eat it. I spread this with Land O' Lakes Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread, and wow...was it ever good. Next up, I'm trying it with the pumpkin cream cheese. Or maybe even this TJ's Cocoa Almond Spread!
Overall rating: 5 of 5 stars
Would I buy it again? Yes! The next loaf will be solely dedicated to French toast making!
