Trader Joe's Brownie Crisp Coffee Ice Cream Sandwiches Review...whew, that's a mouthful! Literally! 

You'll find these in the freezer section (obviously), and a box of 4 costs $3.99. The "cookie" portions of these ice cream sandwiches are Trader Joe's Brownie Crisps. (How have we not reviewed these on their own...I know we've eaten them!)

For the ice cream in the center, Trader Joe's says it's "...coffee ice cream - made with coffee syrup, Colombian coffee extract, and espresso grounds."

She says (Bridget): These little ice cream sandwiches pack a robust coffee punch. If you can't decide between an espresso and ice cream for a snack, this would be the perfect compromise. The brownie crisps soften around the ice cream, making them a little chewy rather than crisp. The texture is perfect for an ice cream sandwich...without being sticky like a regular ice cream sandwich cookie (not that there's anything wrong with that). The coffee flavor is so strong, that I don't get much chocolate here. Nice size, fun square shape.

He says (Jack): I love these! I think they could easily be called "rustic" ice cream sandwiches, or maybe "morning" ice cream sandwiches, if there were such a thing. I say this for two reasons: first, because of the strong coffee flavor. I don't know if this is because I don't drink coffee, but I thought the flavor was exceptionally strong (not a bad thing!). Secondly, because of the "sandwich" part itself--the cookie is very grainy, and you can really tell that it's there, even though it's not too thick. Maybe none of what I just said made sense, so make sure you take away that these sandwiches are spot-on!
